It also includes improving how fast your website loads, in linking, the quality of your website content and much more.
Off Page SEO
Off page SEO are techniques that are external, they are not done on your website. The biggest technique is link building, which means getting high quality backlinks to your website. A few ways of doing that is by adding your website to local directory submissions, submitting a few of your articles to blog directories and posting on forums.
Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
Although Search Engine Marketing (SEM) is often associated with SEO, we prefer to keep them separate. Search Engine Marketing is a form of online marketing that promotes your website through paid advertisements on search engines. While there are a few platforms, Google AdWords is the most popular and used. Google AdWords uses a Pay Per Click (PPC) model, which means that you pay a fee every time that your advertisement is clicked on. This is not only very useful for getting leads, but can temporarily increase your visibility on Google for certain keywords.
Social Media Marketing (SMM)
Social Media Marketing (SMM) is a form of online marketing which uses social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to promote your business and even your website. It is a valuable marketing tool that allows you to connect with your clients on their preferred social media networks. It can also have a positive impact on your SEO efforts, as often content shared on social media directs traffic to your website. Most sites also have paid advertisements available. Facebook, one of the foremost social media sites for advertising your business, has multiple options depending on your desired outcome. Some outcomes include getting prospective clients to like your page, certain posts or direct them to your website. You can also select your target audience based on certain characteristics such as their location, age and interests.
